Xmas Party
Merry Christmas everyone!!
Christmas '08 cum Andrew 19th bdae
location: henry'se house
date: 241208
We celebrated christmas at henry's house on the eve.
And we totally had tons of fun, mingling with each other.
We had a potluck dinner there since everyone brought along our specialty.
I did a deep-fry fishballs and nuggets for the day.
We really have a good spread of food.
Second round of food was served later in the day.
We did some chatting and watched tv together.
Everyone was well-glued for campus shrewd and little nonya...so we decided not to catch any movies instead.
I fell slept during little nonya and they played a prank on me.
Its a joke as henry lied that everyone had gone home.
I disbelieved him as i was still alittle awake.
Then, henry labeled the presents for our exchange later.
After that, 4 of them played mahjong while the other 4 including me played poker.
All of us then crowded around for "heart attack" and "indian poker"
Christmas strikes and we took out the log cake to celebrate.
At the same time celebrating andrew birthday...
after cutting the cake, we distribute the presents...
we draw lots to decide who got the presents.
xun xiong got mine...n i got my present from chin leong.

Genting/KL Trip
Day 1: 20/12 Genting
We departed in Five Star Tours coach to Genting at 7am.
The journey up north was extremely long.
We reached Genting at 3pm.
It took quite a while(about 2 hours exactly) b4 we would allow to check into our hotels at First World.
We took some rest in the hotel b4 going for our dinner.
We had bah kut teh for dinner.
After dinner, we had bowling at genting bowl.
Dad, bro and I had two games while mum idled.
Then, the adults went casino, while we left for some arcade.
Had KFC for supper.
Day 2: 21/12 Genting
had lunch and dinner at Causeway Bay restaurant.
spent like RM170 for lunch...dinner was arounf RM110.
Food wise was pretty good. The portions was large.
Walk outside Genting for some fresh air.
The weather was very misty and cool...13degrees throughout our stay dere.
Din went to the outdoor theme park.
Cause the queue was pretty long...quite a pity.
Had KTV instead at Be A Star in the afternoon.
Then shop around plaza after dinner.
Day 3: 22/12 Genting-KL
had breakfast at Mary Brown b4 heading to KL.
reached KL at 2pm and settled ourselves at Hotel Capitol.
It is one of the best hotels room as it is connecting and facilities wise in the hotel was great.
It has a good view of nearby Times Square and neighbouring malls.
We had lunch at nearby restaurant.
The food was worth a mention.
After lunch, was shopping at Times Square.
Then took the monorial down Petaling Street.
The monorial was pretty bad....crowded with ppl...worst than S'pore.
Walked down Chinatown...
bought some local products dere.
Then cab back to hotel at RM8.
dinner at Plaza Low Yat.
a hongkong restaurant(forgotten the name liao)
Day 4: 23/12 KL-S'pore
breakfast at hotel.
headed down KLCC by cab.
last minute shopping...
We bought quite alot of clothes and stuffs both days.
back for lunch.
and headed back hotel for check-out.
Left KL at 3pm and reached home by 8.30pm.

Twilight
This shall be my last post b4 i'm off for holiday.
"holiday mood is here, finally".
Twilight is out in theatres now, i'm going to catch it soon.
I love the book, hope the movie would not been disappointing.
Tmr going to have two driving lessons at a shot.
I'm hoping to clear module 1, pray hard to complete. haha!
I think i need a job too, getting pretty broke.
I am thinking of taking up new tuition assignments too.
Driving lessons are very Expensive, very!!!
I will be back in time for Xmas party.

Driving
I had my driving lesson today and i get to explore further away from the driving centre.
Today's lesson was all out on roads, though i happen to have numerous stalls in between, as i had not learn driving for almost three weeks already.
With the instructor beside me, i got to drive from the driving centre, being the starting point till tampines ave 10...the ending point...I must say it is one of the furthest route i ever tried.
I got to try driving up till the 4 gear...or even 5 at about 80km/hr...it seems pretty cool.
and i made my first right turn todae...yeah~as in outside road
from ubi, i cruise down to kaki bukit area, then all the way down to bedok reservoir rd and to tampines area...near safra there, then all the way keep cruising at tampines till a industrial area...
somewhere near old tampines rd...
the place damn ulu la...with those dogs running here and there.
and we stop...while the instructor explained those gear etc..
after that, he drove me back, cause we are running out of time.
Kudos, gotta improve..

friday 5/12/08
I've my presentation on friday and i was pretty calm throughout.
cause i think we had put in the effort, so was not nervous at all.
thanks to my grp members too, yvonne, siti and nabilla,,,.shall mit our goals in the next league.
lucky, ms tan questions were able to answer...haha.
everything ended smoothly.

meiyun 20th birthday.
next, went down suntec to mit up my frens to celebrate meiyun 20th birthday.
me, henry, xiaopang, andrew and hweeshan was dere too...

I was happy that i could complete the race...timing: 3:04:36 according to scm official timing.
my timing could be even better, if not for me for slipping at the 19km mark.
and injuring my left ankle...
but i still walk and complete till the finishing point.
Hurray to those who did well, especially jiejie...
Anyway, this is my first long marathon, and it's really an accomplishment well done.
Shall consider if i would take part in the adidas sundown, cause its twice the distance: 42.195km..
lastly, i fell ill after the race...
damn pathetic sia...got a fever after a nap when i reach home.
then now not feeling very well too...recover soon!

...few more hours to the standard chartered marathon...
i'm feeling so stressed.
hoping i can get a good timing later...
